Daryn Konysbayev broke his personal record in Sweden

In Kalmar city (Sweden) the World Championship at the “sprint” distance among students ended. The championship was attended by 76 athletes from 27 countries of the world, including top 100 triathletes of the international ITU rankings. Kazakhstan in this championship was represented by a member of the national team, the champion of Central Asia among juniors - Daryn Konysbayev. According to the results of the competition, our athlete took the 39th position. Daryn Konysbayev overcame the “sprint” distance in 54 minutes and 15 seconds.

“For the first time I took part in the World Student Championship. I was preparing for these competitions continuously in recent months under the supervision of my coaches Andrei Glushchenko and Murat Zhuzginbaev. The organization was at high level. The bike course go through the valley and was speed. I am satisfied with my result, I break my personal record at this distance. I think I have a lot to strive for, ”Daryn Konysbayev told us.
